Melissa Funaro, a KC native and PLTI alumna, has worked as an early childhood educator, center director, and KCPS school secretary. Having always worked with families in some capacity throughout her career, her position as site coordinator gives her another opportunity to empower parents and others to make real changes for the benefit of all children in our city. She hopes to grow PLTI's network in order to bring more guardians, parents, and leaders to the table, where often a parent's voice is overlooked.
