Applications are now open!
PLTI is open to parents and parent figures who want to learn how to advocate for themselves, their children, and their communities.
“The gained experiences will never expire and the work will never be done. We just now have the tools and knowledge to pass down to our future generations.”

The Children’s Leadership Training Institute (CLTI)!
The Children’s Leadership Training Institute is offered to PLTI participants' children ages 7-12 and teaches the same civic skills in an age-appropriate way. CLTI uses interactive learning, playtime, and children’s literature to teach leadership, civics, and democracy skills.
CLTI happens at the same time as PLTI, and is organized into two sections:
Phase I – Developing Community and
Phase II – Democracy and civic skills.
Enrollment for CLTI is included on the PLTI application
